Life Right Units
Accommodation: 25 units
The units are occupied based on life rights for which the resident pays an initial financial contribution and thereafter a monthly levy. The units are cozy and secure, some overlooking the beautiful gardens in the courtyard.
There are:
- 3 - Bachelor units – 24m²
- 14 - Single bedrooms – 36m²
- 8 - Two bedrooms – 57m²
There is a waiting list for the Life Rights Units. A non- refundable fee is required when your name is placed on the waiting list. Assessments are a pre-requisite prior to admission, whether in the Life Right Unit or Rental Unit.
Levies include the following:
- Reception control officer from 07:00-19:00
- Water and electricity.
- Garden services.
- Building Maintenance.
- One meal per day – lunch.
- Cleaning services – units are cleaned weekly.
- 24-hour nursing services, only when an emergency arises – with the aid of a panic button.
- Laundry is done weekly.
Admission procedure:
Admission forms, a medical assessment done by your own General Practitioner, DQ98, MOCA and Wicht Scale, done by the Professional Nurse of the Home must be completed and handed in prior to any admission.
